Rock & Roll Curves – Love Her 2 Times

Rock and Roll Curves - Love Her 2 Times BlogOMG, I’m so happy to announce the release of part 2 of the Rock & Roll Curves series, Love Her 2 Times!  I really am quite giddy.  This story has it all.  From just the right amount of drama to scorching sex scenes to the several surprises that will leave you breathless.  My editor is pissed because I refuse to tell her what’s coming up in part 3.  I don’t blame her.  I know what’s going to happen and I still can’t wait!

Gage Tucker, lead singer of Dark Fire Love, broke Darcy’s heart in Reno but won it back in Las Vegas. Now, Darcy and Gage are an item and he’s coming back to Reno to do one last show before he goes big time. However, he’s got some competition. Booker Harrison, the Aussie lead singer of Buckshot, is opening up for Dark Fire Love and he’s not shy about showing his interest in Darcy’s luscious curves. However, Booker isn’t what he seems and soon Darcy finds herself in bed with both Gage and Booker, Gage’s old friend and one time lover. But a night of forbidden lust with two hot rock stars has Darcy confused and torn. She doesn’t want to hurt either man or get hurt herself but one bad decision tears everything apart and sends Darcy down a path she’s not entirely sure she wants to follow.

That blurb, like all good blurbs should, doesn’t even begin to reveal the shocking surprises in store.  You can pick up a copy at any retailer, except Apple for about 7 years because they hate romance (just get the Kindle app or buy the .epub at Smashwords or All Romance), by clicking the links to the right.  Don’t forget, if you love this story give it a great review.  One more thing, sign up for my newsletter to get emails about new releases and a new offer I’ll be rolling out very soon.

Happy Reading!

Just a Quick Thank You!!!

Rock Hard Love Cover Blog Part 1Tonight, July 7th, Rock Hard Love hit Number 1 on the Amazon Erotica – Free list.  I’m not sure why this happened suddenly, but I’m thrilled.  This was my first book and I made it free to promote my other work.  I guess it’s working.  You have to give away a lot of books to make number 1.  Thanks to everyone that has picked up a free copy and especially to those that paid for a copy prior.  YOU GUYS ROCK!!

How to Find Paid and Free Erotica – Free!!!

I’ve been collaborating with fellow authors (though I did very little actual work) on a new how-to title.  How to Find Paid and Free Erotica is your guide to finding all the sexy erotic romance and searing hot smut your little heart desires.  Many retailers make it hard for readers to find sexy stories that so many women (and men) crave.  Apple is probably the worst offender but Amazon isn’t far behind.

Other sites just have poor search engines that make finding what you want difficult at best.  Kobo books is the best example.  How to Find Paid and Free Erotica is your guide to navigating the filters and censorship to find what your looking for.  We all have fantasies and some are rather dirty but no one should ever feel bad about it.  Unfortunately, many book retailers don’t agree but now you can have the tools you need to find what you want to read no matter what it is.  Thumbing your nose at them when you do it is optional.

Grab a free copy and get the ammo you need to fight back against the knuckleheads at Apple, Amazon and others who think it’s their duty to decide what you should and shouldn’t read.  You can find How to Find Paid and Free Erotica free at most retailers but I’ve provided the link to Amazon (that’s where most of us buy ebooks).  For the record, I don’t make any money from this and neither does anyone else.  It’s free and provided as a service to readers.

Happy reading and thanks to the peeps that made this happen!  You know who you are 😉

Amazon Policy Change Might Affect Readers

Seems like Amazon has changed their policy on categorizing books.  Specifically Erotica books.  In he past, Amazon would not let an author place a title in a second category if one of those categories was Erotica.  However, you could get it done but you had to ask Amazon to do it manually.  I suppose that made sense and kept all the breeding, daddy and menage erotica out of the Romance categories while allowing  Erotic Romances like my books.  For the record, I have nothing against Erotica and I bet a lot you don’t either.

As of about a week ago, Amazon no longer allows books in the Erotica category to be categorized in another category under any circumstances.  That is going to force Erotic Romance into either Erotica or Romance.  I have no idea if Amazon will strip categories from books already categorized in both categories.  In any case, if you browse by category or browse the best selling lists you may have to browse both Erotica and Romance to find books like mine as now authors will be forced to choose either Romance or Erotica.

This will make it harder for you, the reader, to find what you want to read.  I’m not sure what the point of this is and it might lead to further changes that will be advantageous, but who knows?  Amazon isn’t very forthcoming about such things.  To me, Amazon is trying to further marginalize books with erotic content despite the incredible popularity of these titles.  Whatever it is, I want you to know my books will be in the Erotica category.  The majority of my books are sold from that category so it makes sense.  As for other authors, that will be up to them.

If this kind of subtle and back door (not not that kind of back door 😉 ) censorship bothers you, contact Amazon here and let them know you don’t approve of this move and you want them to make it easier for you to find the books you want to read regardless of content.  Only you should decide what you want to read, not some suit in a corporate office.  OK, back to the fun now.

Amazon Top 100 and an All Romance Best Seller

Big Girl Biker Cover BlogThis is a big shout out to all my fans and readers.  Thank you for making Softail Curves an Amazon Top 100 in Erotica and a best seller on All Romance eBooks.  I am humbled by the reaction.  So far Softail Curves has peaked at number 69 on the Top 100 list on Amazon.  No I didn’t make that ranking up but the irony is not lost on me.  The book has also been ranked near 1400 overall in the Amazon store.  Amazing.

On All Romance eBooks, Softail curves is a best seller in their Rubenesque category.  They are obviously much smaller than Amazon but my sales have been nothing short of spectacular there.  Again, thank you.  Now all you Kobo and Nook people, you’re lagging behind 😉  I’m not on Apple yet, but it’s in the pipeline, though sales there are slow for Rock Hard Love.  They are a tough nut.

So, all of that good news means…I’m working my butt off.  I published Rock Hard Envy right after Softail Curves and now I’ve put off Rock Hard Bliss, the third part of the Rock Hard series, to focus on Parts II and III of Softail Curves.  Part II is written, it’s all I’ve done the last few days, and is probably going to be out within a week to ten days.  Part III is plotted and I will write it soon.  But Rock Hard fans, don’t worry.  That is being worked on too and should be out in late March or Early April.  I’m busy but its a great problem to have.  Thanks again!!!

Rock Hard Love is a Best Seller and in Paperback!

Rock Hard Love Cover blogThis week Rock Hard Love went up for sale on All Romance Ebooks (ARe) and is already a best seller!  Wow!  I’m thrilled.  Thanks ARe shoppers.  I appreciate the support and I hope you love the story.

OK, enough back patting.  Rock Hard love is also available in paperback now.  With a day or so you will have the choice to by an ebook or the paperback exclusively at Amazon or you can get the paperback here right now.  Now you have a choice!!  Remember, you can get the eBook at all the retailers listed to the right.

A few more items.  It could be weeks before Rock Hard Love is available on the Apple iBooks store.  I’m trying very hard to make that happen faster.  In the meantime, if you read in iBooks you can download an .epub from ARe or Smashwords and just drop the file into iTunes.  One more thing, I was working on another book, but I’ve tabled that in favor of working on Part 2 of the Rock Hard series.  Look for it in February!

*Update* – I may have Rock Hard Love published on Apple by the end of the weekend.  Cross your fingers.
