I glad to be able to announce the publication of Sapphic Curves. As I’ve stated in the past, this one is a little different. You’ve got the introverted big girl. You’ve got the strong willed hero but this time he is a she. As you can imagine, confusion and drama ensue as our heroine is drawn to the sexy lesbian that sees something in our heroine she can’t see herself.
You never know how love will find you but Emily didn’t think it would ever find her at all. She had given up on love and slipped into a dreary and lonely existence. That is until someone saw something more, something deep inside, something special within Emily. However, that person wasn’t who or what Emily expected. Not even close. Margo is sultry, sexy and sensuous. She’s also a lesbian and she can’t help herself when it comes to Emily. Margo insists that under Emily’s drab and boring exterior there lurks a “wild bitch” just waiting to escape and enjoy life. But a night of forbidden passion leaves Emily shaken and questioning everything she knows. Can Emily look past the labels and find love or will her fears cause her to withdraw even further?
This story is a little different but it follows many of the same themes you see in hetero erotic romance. An unsure big girl, a sexy hero, or heroine in this case, a happy ending and plenty of satisfying sex. I hope you’ll give this one a chance. Who knows, you might even like it. Love is blind as they say. And don’t worry, I’ve got lot’s Big Girls & Bad Boys tales on the way. 😉
Actually, it’s not that easy. I’ve already taken a short vacation this summer and I have another planned in late July. I’ve got kid’s at home and I want to spend some time with them. That means that my releases might slow a bit. I usually try to publish two books a month but I’m afraid this summer, one will be all I can manage. This month it’s Sapphic Curves. Next Month it’s the second part of Rock & Roll Curves, a planned trilogy.
In August, I’m thinking I’ll start a new series. I’m not entirely sure what that will be, but I’ve got a few ideas brewing. Then in late August when the kids go back to school, I’ll probably be able to get back to a more frequent release schedule. I just wanted you to know. I’m working hard to bring you new releases, but there’s only so many hours in the day. I hope you have a great summer!
I’ve always wanted to talk about publishing and writing and so I’m beginning with independent publishing (self-publishing or indie publishing). I want to give my readers and fans a little insight into what goes on behind the scenes. I’m not here to make excuses or try to sell anyone on indie publishing as opposed to traditional publishing. Both have their places and both serve a need. However, there are some realities that I want to pass along to help readers understand why things are they way they are. This will be a series though how many parts it will contain I have no idea.
First off, traditional publishers have a lot of control over their product and they are still focused on real books. They have total control over pricing, length, subject and almost total editorial control. For instance, I’ve seen an author explain to a fan when they were asked why a certain character was no longer present in a sequel that the publisher demanded the character be removed. Authors are usually at the whim of the publishers wants and needs in the traditional publishing model.
Indie publishers, usually a single writer self-publishing, has total control…almost. Continue reading →
I’m out of town on a little vacation so I thought I’d post this before I left to whet your appetite for my next release. This one is different and I’ve hinted at it in previous post. Sapphic Curves is the story of a young women, she’s a virgin, overweight and rather introverted. She’s a librarian and loves to read and travel. She surrounds herself with adventure, but never really lives it. She’s content to spectate.
That life is turned upside down when a sexy woman comes onto her, wondering why our heroine is hiding her beauty and telling her she can see the “wild bitch” inside of her. Well, excitement gets the best of our heroine and she finds herself in bed with the attractive lesbian but afterwards she can’t handle the feelings and confusion that generated and thing go awry.
This story isn’t finished but I’ve got the plot in my head. The real message is that love doesn’t always happen the way you plan and is sometimes found in the most unexpected places. I know many of my readers are probably not into girl on girl sex but I hope you’ll give this one a chance. It’s kind of a thought experiment. Could a straight woman fall for another woman? Could love be stronger than sexual orientation?
Don’t worry, I’m not abandoning my bad boys like Dutch, Gage or James but sometimes I just need to indulge my wacky ideas. Again, I hope you give this one a chance. If it’s not your thing, maybe you will like the story. Maybe you, like the heroine, will find love somewhere you didn’t expect it. Maybe you just like a good love story. In any case, expect Sapphic Curves in mid June.
I am proud to announce the release of Rock & Roll Curves, the latest in my Big Girls & Bad Boys collection. Rock & Roll Curves is nearly 20,000 words of yummy goodness. I’ve got a good feeling you will love this book. I hope so, I’m desperate to write more! The story is romantic, the heroine sassy and the hero is oh so deliciously bad.
Darcy loves rock & roll. Now her rock & roll dreams are coming true as Gage Tucker, lead singer of Dark Fire Love invites her to his suite after the show. What follows is a night of passion that Darcy could only imagine until then as Gage takes control, ties her up and pleasures her to her limits. But the next morning, Darcy wakes up alone without so much as a goodbye. Despite fulfilling a fantasy, Darcy feels used and feels like Gage took advantage. She feels like he picked her because he thought she’d be desperate enough to give in to his torrid whims. Gage seemed to enjoy Darcy’s curves but now she’s not so sure. But when a driver appears at Darcy’s door with a note from Gage asking her to join him in Vegas, Darcy has to decide what to do. Will Darcy stubbornly reject Gage’s request or will she risk her pride to live out her rock & roll fantasies?

I’ve laid a few eggs. Produced a few duds. I can admit that. I like to experiment and sometimes things aren’t as exciting to my readers as they are to me. So sue me! But this time, I’ve gone back to what started it all for me, or rather the two whats that started it all. Rock Hard Love and Softail Curves. With that in mind, I’ve written something that combines the best of both and that is called, Rock & Roll Curves.
This story has the big girl, the bad boy rock star, the amazing sex and the great story. At nearly 20,000 words, Rock & Roll Curves is everything any self respecting reader of erotic romance would want in a story. If I do say so myself, the sex is the most inspired I’ve yet written. It’s sexy, rough, immediate and so satisfying. The girl is sassy, yet somewhat insecure. The male lead is strong and in control.
Rock & Roll Curves is due out this week! I’ll post when it is available but I’m shooting to have it on sale the biggies (Amazon, B&N and All Romance) on Wednesday. I’m really excited about this. If you enjoyed Simone and James in the Rock Hard series or Shauna and Dutch in Softail Curves, you’re going to love this. My beta readers raved about it and I hope you love it as much as they did.
I’m happy to announce the release of my latest novella, Pitching Curves. I didn’t expect this story to turn into such a long book, but it just kept flowing. I expected a 15k story and ended up at nearly 30,000 words. Thing is, I’ve got all kinds of ideas that just didn’t make it into this story. I could have kept going, I suppose, but the story I wanted to tell was at an end. I hope this one takes off so I can write a sequel or two. It’s in your hands now.
Penny thought she was happily married, at least until she found her husband screwing his sexy redheaded intern. Now she finds herself alone, depressed and raising two teenagers while her ex is having the time of his life with his new girlfriend. One chance encounter leads to another and Penny is stunned to find herself in the arms of a hot, young man. Steve is almost young enough to be her son but he makes her feel so good. He’s a Major League pitcher with a bad boy reputation and has a thing for older gals with curves. But just when everything seems to be going well, Penny’s ex begins to stir up trouble that could spell disaster for everyone involved.
I love the interaction between the lead characters. It’s fun, easy and sexy. I think this story is…wait for it…one of my favorites. Heck, they’re all my favorites. I wrote them. Pick up a copy at your favorite retailer today and don’t forget to post a review if you enjoy the story. Tell your friends, coworkers and everyone you know on Facebook (well, maybe not your aunt at the convent 😉 ). Don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter to find out about all my releases and more!!
